November 2010

Fundraisers at the Preschool
Box Tops Update You helped us earn $260 in FREE MONEY from Box Tops! Keep collecting for the next time we send in! A big thanks to our Box Tops Mom, Tami Moore, and to all our preschool parents for sending so many. Tami reports that we had the highest total for a small private preschool. Christine Peeler is our new Box Tops Mom.
Publix Cards Please continue to show your Publix card when you shop. Let us know if you need additional cards.
SCRIP Last year, we got the most orders for these retail gift cards during the holiday season. We plan to send home an order sheet later this month. Hopefully this will make your holiday shopping easier! Orders will be returned in time for holiday gift giving. Remember that SCRIP cards are at no cost beyond the face value of the card. They can be used like cash for purchases or given as a gift. The retailers specify a percentage from 2% – 16% as a donation to the preschool. We anticipate placing one order around December 3.
Equal Exchange We are submitting everyone’s orders now. Thanks for supporting this effort!

Immunization and Health Forms
Thank you for turning these in to us so promptly. Every time your child gets a shot, remember to ask for an updated Immunization Form (Form 3231). If you have NOT provided these forms please make it a priority to do so immediately.

Chapel Activities
We have been using the Old Testament Bible stories about Moses this month to talk about families, and God’s powerful help. We will also be talking about thankfulness during November.

Chocolate Spa Update
The Chocolate Spa Day was great fun! We had over 50 in attendance. We hope you attended and had a great time. Ms. Lori’s class parents and Ms. Becky’s class parents had the highest attendance.

The November tuition reminders include extended day charges for 2’s and Young 2’s. The charges for field trips for older classes may also be on your bill if your class went on a trip.
